I hear you on the “never again” yarn, but if it makes you feel better the scarf looks wonderful and coordinates perfectly with the jacket. What a great plan for your knitting this year! I have also been thinking about an actual plan for my knitting, so it’s inspiring to hear what other people are planning. You are showing some great restraint on using from your stash and I love how you matched up projects to yarn!

That thick & thin multi goes perfectly with your coat! And ain’t that the truth. I keep vowing never to buy multicolored yarn again, much less thick & thin.

Yours looks lovely. Such a nice pattern — and a great, go-to, every-day design. Great projects (and. . . doesn’t it feel good to get rid of one that’s not quite working?).

When we had a mild winter day, I usually grabbed my Lands End jacket instead of the Geiger. Usually our winter days are too cold for anything but a heavy hooded jacket.

LOL – “you can quote me on that” – yeah, I’m with you on that one!
