I am an RN who has recently become unable to work or drive. I love to knit and to sit with others who are knitting/crochetting. I used to have several knitting friends, we met at my friend’s knitting shop once or twice a week, but I know no one in AZ, feeling sorry for myself ’cause I can’t just hop in a car and drive around to knitting shops until I find something comfortable and friendly. Cissy is great! I used to have a cat, Julie, who was great! we had bug and rodent problems in my last appartment, Julie loved it! She hunted bugs and mice day and night, she ate the mice but left the bugs for us to enjoy, except for the first mouse she caught which she felt should be mine as she dropped it on my bare foot while I was eating dinner! I had a hard time breathing between laughing and (quietly) shrieking! She used to poke small bugs with her claws and pounce with both feet on cockroaches! so nice of the appartments to supply such cool kitty toys!
It was nice that she didn’t leave the rat for you guys as a trophy, or her offering for the pot luck. 😉
