I’m happiest with my first pair of socks (with a heel) that I finished in January. I used the Yarn Harlot’s sock recipe and all went well. Well, instead of fitting me, they fit my DH but that’s okay. šŸ˜€

Since you asked, my favorite recent FO is the Elizabeth Zimmerman February Sweater I made for my cousin’s baby. It my first EZ project, used sentimental yarn, and it turned out beautifully. There are pics here

Congrats on the blogiversary.

I’m so excited about the Fleece Artist (I just recently bought my FIRST Fleece Artist and it is WONDERFUL!)

Hmmm . . . if I had to choose my favorite FO of the year, it would have to be my Dragon Scale Scarf

The Malabrigo laceweight is simply DIVINE!

Your favorite FO is beautiful! I love the different shades of blue in the shawl.

I think that my favorite finished object of the year was the log cabin baby blankie (found here: http://yarnandcocktails.blogspot.com/2007/05/when-does-life-slow-down.html). There was great inspiration (from the Gee’s Bend quilts), the colors were great, I’d been wanting to do a log cabin for a while. But part of the favorite-ness comes from the fact that I gifted it away about 12 hours after finishing!

I loved so many things about this project
-the yarn was wonderful to work with
-it was my first time knitting cables
-I knit it as a knit-along with my best friend Abbey
-it turned out gorgeous!

So quick and too cute. I unfortunately forgot to take a picture before I gifted them to a coworker.

Depending on how my current knit come out, FiFi may become my new favorite though!
Congrats on the -versary!

Congrats on your blogiversary too.
My favorite FO is the hourglass sweater that I actually finished a few weeks ago:

(Pics of the sweater are further down that post, there are also some socks in there too).
The sweater is so comfy and warm.
